CDC Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System Data

COVID-19 vaccine data is difficult to find in comparison to COVID-19 case data. While COVID-19 data is widely available and published in tables and charts on the CDC’s website, vaccine data is not.

While the CDC displays how many people have taken the vaccine, the data around its impact is far less available. You must download the data file yourself and have access to reporting tools. The general public does not have that ability.

Below is the CDC’s data on the COVID-19 vaccines from the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System.

SYMPTOMS & DATA COLLECTION

Symptoms from a drug or vaccine are collected for years after administration. For example, 10,000 birth defects were not correlated to Thalidomide until 4 years after its release. Compared to that timescale, we have only collected 10% of data.
